VETERINARY COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY

Computed Tomography is an instrumental investigation which is now indispensable for the in-depth study of a wide range of pathologies (orthopedic, neurological, neoplastic ...). The Caleidos centre has multislice CT equipment capable of performing total-body scans, with or without contrast medium, in dogs, cats and small pets at any time they are needed. The time required for carrying out the investigation is limited to a few seconds so that the duration of radiation exposure and anaesthesia is minimised. Reporting is ensured within 24 hours for non-urgent cases and, on the other hand, is immediate for critical cases. If the investigation is prescribed by your veterinarian, we will take care to inform him of the outcome of the examination and the condition of your animal so that he can undertake the most appropriate treatment.
