ORTHOPAEDIC AND SOFT TISSUE SURGERY

ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY

Veterinary orthopaedics is generally associated almost exclusively with the treatment of limb fractures. In fact, though, this branch is vast. We distinguish skeletal growth pathologies, traumatic pathologies and pathologies of old animals, the treatment of which often requires orthopaedic surgery.

At our clinic, with cutting-edge equipment, these operations are performed by specialist doctors who are always up-to-date on innovative techniques and materials to minimise the risk of complications and recovery times.

At Caleidos clinic we can perform radiographic studies for dysplasia of the hips, elbows, patellar luxation and many other hereditary skeletal pathologies, thanks also to authorisation for the official reading of this type of pathology obtained for both Ce. Le.Ma.Sche and FSA.

SOFT TISSUE SURGERY

The team at Caleidos clinic also deals with soft tissue surgery, i.e. the branch of surgery that operates on organs and systems that do not have bone consistency. So, we can perform thoracic, cardiovascular, pulmonary, hepatobiliary, urogenital surgery and much more. For the convalescent phase, we have a ward used for post-operative hospitalisation.
